Boda-boda or motorbikes, are the fastest and cheapest means of transport for moving around and about in Kampala. The capital city of Uganda has serious morning, lunch break and evening peak hours. The shortest distance on the boda-boda may cost a quarter of a dollar.
The motorbikes were named after the bicycles, which were mainly used at the Uganda-Kenya no-mans-land border in the early 1960s. The rides, which know no race or gender, are a must-try for any visitor to this busy city.
