The COMESA Media Awards are an annual event that seeks to enhance professional reporting on COMESA activities in particular and regional integration in general.
The Awards have been in existence from 2009. Winners are recognized and awarded during the prestigious annual COMESA Heads of State and Govenment Summit.
The entries submitted for the competition must be directly related to issues and activities pertaining to development and regional integration in the COMESA region.
This is, therefore to request ALL Media Houses and Journalists in the COMESA region to mobilize their articles and productions and send in entries for the 5th COMESA Media Awards, which will take place this year, 2013.
