Polls Open in Egypt’s Presidential election

Cairo, Monday, 26 March, 2018: Polls opened on time across Egypt this morning to allow about 59 million voters to choose a Head of State. Most polling stations visited by observers from COMESA and CENSAD found that all electoral materials had been provided and security was adequate.
The polling stations are spread in the various governorates of the country.
Two candidates are contesting in this crucial election which will see one candidate emerge winner for a four year mandate.
Incumbent President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi is facing Mr Moussa Moustafa Moussa from the Elgad Party.
