As part of 30th Anniversary celebrations, COMESA is proud to host the COMESA week in Ethiopia, an initiative aimed at raising public awareness about the Organisation’s impact in the region. It’s a vital opportunity for direct engagement among the diverse stakeholders – the business community policymaker from both public and private sectors, the youth and the media.

The highlight of COMESA Week is the 2nd COMESA Institutions Awareness Forum set for 5 and 6 May 2025 in Addis Ababa and the 6th edition of the COMESA Federation of Women in Business (COMFWB) Trade Fair and Business Conference, taking place from 5th – 9th May, 2025.

This year’s theme “A Thriving COMESA advancing gender responsive regional integration for unlocking green investment, value chains, tourism and mining in the AfCFTA, underscores a powerful truth; women and youth entrepreneurs are not just participants in economic development, they are signature drivers of prosperity across the African content.
